Treatment Preparation
Please take the time to read our treatment preparation guide to ensure that you are fully prepared for your appointment with us!
-
Please arrive with a clean, bare face - no makeup or skincare products. If you arrive with makeup on, it will need to be removed before we begin, which will take time away from your actual treatment.
-
Please avoid putting your hair in complex or tight hairstyles that can't be easily undone. Consider scheduling your appointment on a hair wash day, as your hair may become greasy during the treatment.
-
To ensure your comfort, safety, and optimal results, your skin must be in a suitable condition at the time of your appointment.
If you are experiencing any of the following, we reserve the right to postpone or deny treatment on the day:
Visible facial bruising
Broken, compromised, or inflamed skin barrier (e.g. raw, peeling, severely sensitised skin)
Treating bruised or compromised skin may cause further irritation or discomfort, and can interfere with your skin’s healing process.
If you’re unsure whether your skin is ready for treatment, please contact us before your appointment, or book a consultation with one of our estheticians. This policy helps us protect your skin health and ensure the best possible treatment outcomes.
-
Please ensure your appointment with us is booked at least 8 weeks after any invasive skin treatment or 6 months post operation, including but not limited to: laser, chemical peel, microneedling, dermabrasion, dermaplaning, Botox/filler, or facial acupuncture.
Your skin must be fully healed at the time of your appointment. We reserve the right to deny facial treatment on the day if our estheticians determine that your skin has not fully recovered from previous procedures. This is in accordance with our booking policies. Please read our full Booking Terms and Conditions here.
-
Please avoid the use of retinoids, acids, or other exfoliants 24 hours before your treatment to reduce skin sensitivity.
-
Avoid caffeine and other stimulants before your appointment. They can make it harder to relax and may cause involuntary muscle movements such as eye twitching, which can interfere with precision work during facial treatments.
-
You will have the opportunity to use the restroom before and after your treatment. However, please avoid drinking excessive fluids beforehand, as needing the toilet during your session will disrupt the session.
